Emir is a final-year student at Galatasaray University Law School. He decided to study law after dropping out of the METU Computer Engineering program. As a law student, he has interned in boutique and international law firms and also worked as an English-French translator. In 2023, he won the Future Arbitration Counsel Moot Court organized by the Istanbul Arbitration Centre. He is also the student president of his university and the president of the debate club. Emir is a returning winter intern at Igniters, combining his passion for law and technology. He is interested in tech companies, startup law, venture financing law, and mergers and acquisitions. He is an avid fan of unplanned backpacking adventures and geeking out about random topics.
